A suspicious object was found at the Northwick Drive house on Friday afternoon. A number of residents were advised to leave their homes or stay at the back of the properties during the alert.

A police spokesperson said the device was made safe by army bomb experts.

It has been taken away for further examination and all roads have been reopened.
