Is £80m too much to win in a lottery?
Is £80m too much to win in a lottery?

There has been speculation that the lucky ticket was bought at a Mace store in Doagh.

Staff told UTV they know nothing, and lottery company Camelot is remaining tight-lipped over who picked up the multi-million pound cheque.

Those in the village seem none the wiser - or so they say ...

The windfall - £81,381,673 to be exact - is the sixth biggest ever seen in the UK.

It makes the winner richer than the members of rock band Snow Patrol, golfer Rory McIlroy and even Ballymena-born actor Liam Neeson.

Camelot say the prize from last Tuesday's draw has been validated and is in the process of being paid out.

But the question of who will get it remains a mystery - and if the rumours are true, it looks like it will become one of Doagh's best or worst-kept secrets.

Have your say on the possible windfall - vote in our poll on whether it's just too much money for one person, or leave a comment to tell us how you would spend the money!
