The items were discovered missing from two vans in the Glenmore area on Sunday.

The tools stolen from the red Toyota Hiace and the silver Fiat Scudo included a Paslode nail gun, an Electrabeckham chop saw and DeWalt drills.

Police are keen to hear from witnesses or anyone with information.

Anyone who is offered tools for sale in suspicious or unusual circumstances is also asked to contact them.
