An engineering company has ceased to trade in south Belfast with the loss of 37 jobs.

FIN Engineering Limited, based on Saintfield Road, entered administration on 7 December.

Joan Houston and Ken Pattullo, of Begbies Traynor, were appointed Joint Administrators.

A statement released on Monday said: "The company had suffered from a number of bad debts and was unable to trade out of its difficulties."

It is extremely sad to see another local company going out of business due to the downturn in our economy however if more companies used credit insurance to protect themselves against bad debt there would be less forced closures

Why report these job losses a week before Christmas, UTV. Don't you know only flags and emblems matter in Northern Ireland.
