Footage of a Lamborghini supercar worth an eye-watering £300,000 ending up airborne in a crash with two other vehicles has gone viral, racking up well over 600,000 views on YouTube.

In front of stunned passers-by on London's Sloane Street, the Lamborghini Aventador clips a Mazda turning out of a side street - lifting off the road and into the air.

It then grazes one parked 4X4, before ploughing into a parked BMW and skidding to a halt.

Debris from the vehicles ends up scattered over the road and a man runs to the aid of the driver and his female passenger.

They both emerge from the car, apparently unhurt, and inspect the extent of the damage.

As ITV reports, the state of the matte black supercar drew onlookers to surround the vehicle and take pictures.

Police were called to the scene of Sunday afternoon's crash, but no arrests were made and the car was eventually towed away by a recovery vehicle.

The Aventador production run was limited to 4,000 after the model was unveiled in 2011.

Featuring a 6.5 litre V12 engine, the car is capable of accelerating from 0 to 62mph in 2.9 seconds, with a top speed of 217mph.

No Ciaran the moral of the story here is if your going to buy a supercar dont drive like a complete pratt thinking that your better than everyone else and thinking that you own the road. At the end of the day if he hadn't been driving so fast and had pressed the brake and slowed down instead of speeding up and trying to squeeze past the 2 cars then he would never had damaged the other 2 cars. Rub it up him I say!! He has only himself to blame and deserved to wreck his fancy car.

Another moral to this could be. Don't throw yer money away on a plastic car just because it looks and sounds good, see how easy it fell to bits. Smashin. Can see that goin on e-bay, one careful owner.... before him.

Moral of the story: don't buy a left hand drive.
