The firm is investing £1.2m in research and development, and new market development activities.

Automated Intelligence is located at the Northern Ireland Science Park at Queen's Island and currently employs 31 staff.

The new jobs are described by the company as being "high quality".

Established in 2010 to develop products for the Enterprise Content Management market, the investment in research and development will enable the company to enhance its product portfolio in a bid to expand internationally.

The investment is being supported by Invest NI, which offered £322k of assistance, part funded by the European Regional Development Fund.

Fergus McIlduff, of Automated Intelligence, said: "This support from Invest NI will allow Automated Intelligence to grow into larger export markets and significantly strengthen our capability. This will provide the opportunity for Automated Intelligence to provide unique industry changing solutions in a global market.

"We have been successful in taking a new approach to the information management market. We want to capitalise on that by building the company into a global entity, taking our model and adapting it to both different geographic markets and other industries.

"Our success to date and our growth programme indicate clearly our passion for building a company to be proud of, that will add jobs and value to the Northern Irish economy."
