11 charged with Dungannon arson

Eleven men from Poland have appeared in court charged with arson after a house was attacked in Dungannon, Co Tyrone.

A gang broke into the property on the Springdale estate in the town last Friday night.
Five people were forced to lock themselves in upstairs rooms for their own safety, while extensive damage was caused downstairs.
Police said the 11 men were charged with arson with intent to endanger life and two counts of aggravated burglary.
Nine of them have been released on bail following the hearing at Omagh Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
Bail hearings for the other two have been adjourned.
A twelfth man was released by police pending report to the Public Prosecution Service.
