‘Serious sexual assault’ in west Belfast

Police are investigating an allegation of a serious sexual assault on a young teenage girl in west Belfast.

The alleged incident happened in the Laurel Glen area at the Stewartstown Road on Saturday night.

Police would like to speak with anyone who noticed any unusual activity in the area.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at Rape Crime Unit Ladas Drive on 0845 600 8000.

Or information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

It is quite obvious by previous comments that no one is bothered about the CRIME as they are too busy worrying about the location. Another poor victim of the oldest crime known to man.

Yes it does matter, seems that every negative news article in that area its called "west Belfast" ifs its positive news its "Lisburn". Your arguement does not retain water my friend, as you said its serviced by Lisburn council, small hint in the name there!
