The class A and B drugs were seized during searches sparked by the discovery of a booby trap bomb in a soldier's car in Blackdam Court in north Belfast in January.
Days after the device was discovered, dissident group Óglaigh na hÉireann said it left the bomb under the driver's seat and connected to the seat buckle.
The man will face five charges including possession of class A and B drugs and possession with intent to supply.
He is expected to appear at Laganside Court next month.
