Zarrah Abrahams said she was "shocked" by the judges' decision during Sunday's Dancing On Ice, admitting she did not expect Jason Gardiner to vote to keep her in the competition.

The Waterloo Road actress became the sixth celebrity to be eliminated from the show following a tense skate-off with former rugby player Kyran Bracken.

The ice panel chose to save Kyran from being sent home, with Karen Barber, Ashley Roberts and Robin Cousins voting in his favour.

But Zarrah revealed she couldn't believe Jason opted for her to stay, as he was not that impressed with her showcase routine during Sunday's live show.

Following her Jazz themed routine with professional partner Andy Buchanan, Jason told her that while it was a "confident" performance, it just didn't "grab or excite" him.

Speaking to This Morning's Phillip and Holly on Monday, Zarrah said: "The judges really shocked me.

"Those I thought might vote for me didn't, and who I thought definitely wasn't gonna vote for me did."

Speaking about her tearful reaction to the judges' decision, she said: "I think it's everybody's reaction that makes you really emotional.

"I'm really close to a lot of them and we spend a lot of time together and I love skating, I'm really going to miss it.

"It was a really good show actually because there was so much to look forward to, I was feeling a little bit under the weather but because the routine was something I really like, it was giving us that buzz.

"So all the illness, and all that, didn't really matter. I really enjoyed it."

The remaining eight celebrities will return to the ice on Sunday with each of them going head-to-head with a fellow contestant in a duel for the judges' vote.
