The final 12 would-be stars will take to the stage on Saturday, while four wildcards will also find out who has a public vote to earn the last place in the competition.

Thirteen may be unlucky for some, but for either Adam Burridge, Christopher Maloney, Amy Mottram or Times Red (Staz, Scott and Luke), it could be very lucky indeed.

Meanwhile, the 1D boys - Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson - have been riding high in the charts since their bid to win the X Factor.

While they only finished third, they've enjoyed huge success and won themselves legions of fans.

They'll know exactly what this year's wannabes are going through, as they try to cope with the pressures of performing live week after week.

Leona Lewis also knows how that feels and, having already served as a guest judge, she's also back to show the hopefuls how it's done when she performs this weekend.

Ne-Yo, who has been a guest mentor alongside Nicole Scherzinger, is also going to perform.

Catch the X Factor on UTV at 8pm on Saturday for the first live show, with the results at 8pm on Sunday.
