During next week's programme each celebrity and their real life loves will not only perform a new routine with each other, but they will also dance again in a second showcase with a different partner.
The format twist was revealed on Saturday night after actress Glynis Barber and husband Michael Brandon became the second couple to leave the show.
The pair, who performed a Cha Cha for the 'Front Row' judges, came last in this week's competition after Michael was likened to a "drunken dad dancing at a wedding".
Despite low scores from judges Jason Gardiner, Mel B and Wayne Sleep, Jason commended Glynis for "doing her best" even though she was "dancing with a liability".
Meanwhile former Westlife singer Brian McFadden and wife Vogue Williams triumphed during Saturday's show after coming top of the leader board.
The pair performed a sexy street dance for the judges, with both receiving high marks for their efforts.
Jason told them: "The energy and chemistry between you two is explosive. You stormed it."
Also performing on Saturday was JLS star Oritsé Williams & girlfriend A.J Azari, designer Laurence Llewelyn Bowen & wife Jackie and boxer Carl Froch & girlfriend Rachael Cordingley.
Stepping Out returns to UTV next Saturday from 6.30pm.
