Series eight of the talent show is set to return in a matter of weeks, and a teaser preview has been released giving an insight into the lives of the judging panel now they are all doting parents.

Alesha Dixon's daughter Azura makes her television debut in the promo as her mum dances around her dressing room, while Amanda Holden's daughter Hollie can be seen enjoying a bit of arts and crafts as her mum gets ready for the big show.

But as Amanda gets her five minute curtain call, she looks down to see Hollie has been painting more than a picture...

Meanwhile dad-of-one David cannot be found in his dressing room while new dad Simon asks the show's runner to give him "five more minutes".

"Aw, he must be struggling with the childcare thing," Alesha muses.

But as we see inside Simon's dressing room it transpires that it is actually an oasis of tranquility with the judge being pampered in a chair, surrounded by an army of glamorous nannies who are tending to Simon and baby's every need.

In a hilarious twist another nanny, in the shape of David Walliams, arrives and the tranquillity is disturbed with 'baby Eric' throwing a rattle at the not-so-glamorous David.

"That's my boy," Simon proudly announces.

Britain's Got Talent returns to UTV next month.
