Denise Van Outen has revealed she is expecting a baby girl - who the TV presenter and husband Lee Mead have codenamed "Teapot".
The 35-year-old is wary of the prospect of childbirth and goes to bed covered in creams and oils to stave off stretch marks.
But revealing the sex of the baby, she told Hello! magazine: "I feel really content... I think finding that out (the sex) has been the most euphoric, emotional part of the pregnancy because it made it feel real."
She added: "It means that we're getting excited about the things that we're going to do, like, 'Oh, I'll be able to take her out and buy her a fairy costume!'"
The couple have picked a "quite traditional" name but are keeping it to themselves until their daughter is born in the spring. Denise said: "At the moment she's codenamed Teapot."
Denise met 28-year-old Lee on TV show Any Dream Will Do, which she judged and he went on to win.
The star said: "It felt right, you know. I could see straight away that he had all the qualities that would make a good father.
"I feel so lucky to have a husband like him because he's really understanding and patient. He surprises me with little things. He's very romantic, like he came home and said 'I've booked you a pregnancy massage'.
"And he has had to put up with me getting into bed every night completely covered in stretch mark creams and oils because I'm paranoid about getting stretch marks. I go to bed like a greasy chip every night."
