Show bosses are keeping schtum about which Yorkshire Dales resident will come a cropper during a night of high drama, but have warned fans it's a "well-loved" character.
"We want to avoid speculation as to which character dies, but suffice to say it'll have major, far-reaching repercussions," series producer Stuart Blackburn said.
Executive producer John Whiston also refused to say who would meet their fate, but he did have one little hint.
"The soap gods are like the Mounties - they always get their man. There was a feeling this character has it coming," he said.
It's live in October on a hill in Yorkshire - what could go wrong?

An hour of live action is a huge undertaking for any drama series and the Emmerdale team are under pressure to live up to Corrie's 50th anniversary celebrations two years ago.
That saw a dramatic tram crash devastate the cobbled street and it looks like a certain Yorkshire village could also be left reeling and viewers will definitely be taken along for the ride.
"Viewers will be taken on a whirlwind journey encompassing every life experience from the two cradles to the grave, with love, hate and betrayal along the way," Stuart Blackburn added.
The anniversary episode is due to be aired on UTV next month.
