Schoolgirl Chloe Coyle from Castlederg, Co Tyrone, has been crowned the winner of RTE's All Ireland talent show, scooping a €50,000 prize.
For 12 weeks six acts battled it out to impress the viewers, but Chloe, 13, won the hearts of the nation singing The Water is Wide.
Her mentor Dana, who won the Eurovision as a young girl said she was over the moon.
"I am absolutely thrilled, and so proud of Chloe, she is such a special girl and a special artist, she has touched people all over the country".
Chloe, whose big talent is musical theatre, joined the school choir at six and fairly soon after was asked to sing a solo for the first Holy Communion class.
Her mum Carmen could tell she had a talent and organised classical singing and piano lessons.
Over the course of the auditions thousands of acts queued up from the length and breadth of the country to see the regional judges.
Bit by bit the acts were whittled down to eight acts per region.
There was everything from puppeteers to dancers to singers to comedy acts and the cream of talent Ireland has to offer rose to the top.
