The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 has been crowned Hollywood's top flop after dominating the 2013 Golden Raspberry Awards, which names and shames the year's worst films.

Twilight film lands seven Razzie Awards

The final installment in the vampire franchise was voted Worst Picture at the 11th annual Razzie Awards on the eve of the Oscars on Saturday, seeing off competition from Battleship, The Oogieloves in the Big Balloon Adventure, That's My Boy and A Thousand Words.

Twilight leading lady Kristen Stewart landed Worst Actress, while co-star Taylor Lautner was branded the Worst Supporting Actor for his turn as werewolf Jacob Black.

Stewart did not attend the spoof prizegiving, so organisers brought a cardboard cut-out of the actress to a press conference to "accept" her trophy.

Razzies founder John Wilson joked: "I believe that rather than 40 million girls who bought tickets (to see Twilight), it was four million girls who bought 10 tickets each. That makes me feel better about the American public."

The blockbuster also picked up Worst Director (Bill Condon), Worst Screen Couple (Lautner and Mackenzie Foy), Worst Onscreen Ensemble, and Worst Remake, Rip-Off or Sequel.

That's My Boy scooped the Worst Actor dishonour for Adam Sandler as well as Worst Screenplay.
