Presenters Phillip Schofield, Holly Willoughby, Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford will conduct the celebrations on Thursday 3 October, with a mix of surprises and guest appearances - including original hosts Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan.
Also returning to the original Liverpool location will be the infamous floating weather map with prankster Keith Lemon taking on the weatherman duties.
Since launching in 1988 at Liverpool's Albert Dock, This Morning has become one of ITV's biggest and longest running shows.
Throughout its 25 years, the programme has showcased a huge number of ground breaking showbiz interviews and real-life case studies, all latest fashion trends, soap gossip and a variety of tasty food recipes.
Speaking about the upcoming celebrations, This Morning's Executive Producer, Miles Jarvis, said, "The team have worked incredibly hard on the plans for this exciting event and we hope all our viewers will enjoy being part of it."
This Morning's Editor, Adam Vandermark added, "Our whole family of talent are really excited about this special anniversary show - there'll be plenty of surprises and memories shared - and it's going to be extra special returning to where it all started."
