Boyle was catapulted from obscurity to global stardom after appearing on last year's Britain's Got Talent contest.
Now the former church worker wants to give another unknown a chance of fame.
The winner of a competition on her website will duet with Boyle on her second album The Gift.
The performer said: "Last year my dream of becoming a recording artist came true after auditioning on Britain's Got Talent.
"Since then, I've had an absolutely fantastic time.
"It's been a real gift to me and now I would like to pass on the gift to someone else."
Boyle, from West Lothian, became an international star after her performance of I Dreamed A Dream from the musical Les Miserables stunned the audience and judges on the show.
The footage on YouTube received 500 million hits.
Boyle's debut album I Dreamed A Dream went to the top of the charts around the globe, with nine million copies sold.
Singing hopefuls have less than a month to enter the competition by uploading a video of themselves singing Silent Night to her website.
The winner will be announced on Monday 26 July.
Boyle said: "There are a lot of people out there who wouldn't have the confidence or perhaps the means to enter a big competition like Britain's Got Talent.
"So this might be a lot less daunting for some people as they can record the song in the privacy of their own home.
"I'm hoping that people who have always wanted to sing will give it a try. I wish you all good luck."
