The programme sees celebrities taking to the dance floor with their real-life partners, before being scored on their performance by the 'Front Row' judges Mel B, Wayne Sleep and Jason Gardiner.
So far Oritsé and A.J have been the hot favourites in the competition, but admitted to This Morning's own real-life couple Eamonn and Ruth, that the show has started a few rows.
"This show has brought out all sides of us," said Oritsé. "Being on Stepping Out tests your relationship.
"You have to perform on a Saturday night in front of millions and millions of viewers and if one of you goes wrong you could destroy the whole show."
Before taking part in the programme the couple admitted that they had never had an argument, but say that has definitely changed post-Stepping Out.
A.J said: "We haven't been that bad until this week, we haven't spoken to each other for two days."
"We only started talking to each other last night," added Oritsé.
But despite the odd tiff the pair said they were having a lot of fun taking part in the show - and this is considering Oritsé only told A.J about it the day before filming began.
"The camera crew came in literally the day after I told her," said Oritsé.
"I thought he was joking at first!" A.J admitted.
"But it is something I have always wanted to try with him, even if it was just a Friday night salsa class or something, so it's quite romantic actually, it's sweet."
And with the couple receiving top marks and positive comments from the judges every week, not to mention A.J being dubbed the "British Beyonce" it would seem the decision to take part was a good idea.
Stepping Out returns to UTV on Saturday from 6.30pm.
