Irish singer Brian McFadden, Loose Women star Denise Welch, Ortisé Williams of JLS, flamboyant interior designer Laurence Llewelyn Bowen, boxer Carl Froch and actress Glynis Barber are teaming up with their real life partners for the Saturday night programme.
Viewers will see their journey from home to dance-floor as they try to master a new dance genre each week.
Davina McCall, who is hosting Stepping Out, says she's "beyond excited" to see how the famous couples fare.
"I love dancing and I'm a nosey parker," she said.
"I can't wait to see how the couples are going to cope trying to learn the cha cha or pirouette whilst doing the school run or cleaning."
The show will delve into the ups and downs of the contestants' home lives as they get to grips with each new routine.
One star who should be totally at home on the dance floor, having spent the past five years performing for thousands of screaming fans with JLS, is Oritse - but despite his boyband background, he only scores himself a 1 out of 10.
He said: "I have not done any of the styles of dances we will be performing before!"
Ortise will be competing alongside his fashion designer girlfriend AJ Azari when the brand new show launches soon on UTV.
