Troubled Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines star Nick Stahl has thanked fans for their support after battling personal problems in recent months.

Stahl grateful for health battle support

The actor's wife Rose filed a missing persons report in May when Stahl disappeared for a week. He checked into rehab a few weeks later, but left and vanished again in June.

Rose, who demanded the actor undergo random drug tests before he could spend time with their daughter, called off the search for Stahl at the end of last month, and begged the troubled star to return home.

The couple is believed to have since reunited, and on Sunday Stahl spoke out to acknowledge his family and fans for standing by his side.

Returning to Twitter for the first time since 1 May, he tweeted: "I really want to thank everyone, strangers and comrades, for all of the love and support freely given to myself and my family.

"All my love to my beautiful wife. I couldn't have gotten here without you sweetheart."
