The singer is due to perform at the venue on 9 March 2014 and will now also take to the stage 10 March due to popular demand.
The star is also set to perform at Dublin's Olympia Theatre on Tuesday 11 March.
Filan will release his first solo album You & Me in November following the success of his debut single Everything to Me.
Speaking about his new album, he said: "I got off to a really good start. Everything to Me felt like beginners' luck, but I didn't know how good it was.
"I'd shown to myself I could do this and that took the pressure off. I was flying in those first two weeks and then suddenly I was in Nashville with really famous songwriters, thinking 'Right, let's do this.'"
Since Westlife went their separate ways last year, Filan has made the headlines more for his financial problems rather than his music.
He was declared bankrupt last summer after his Irish-registered property company had already gone into receivership, thought to be as a result of the country's economic problems.
The bankruptcy announcement came only a few days before Westlife bowed out with their farewell show at Dublin's Croke Park.
"People don't want to hear about your problems," he said of his financial worries.
"Everyone has problems, lots of people are struggling financially at the moment and it's not something to harp on about.
"What I got out of my situation is that I'm so lucky to have three healthy kids, a healthy marriage and an amazing wife.
"That's what the album is about - trying to tell people not to worry. I've been there and it's not worth it. You get through it and you try to stay positive, so I've tried to keep the songs positive."
The singer was discharged from bankruptcy one year after declaring debts of almost €23m.
Tickets for Shane Filan's extra date at The Waterfront Hall in Belfast go on sale Friday 1 November at 9am.
