The Kiss from a Rose hitmaker, who split from wife Heidi Klum last month, joins Keith Urban and Good Charlotte star Joel Madden on the upcoming Australian version of the hit US reality series.
However, his commitment to the show has forced Seal to re-arrange a number of gigs, which were due to start this week.
In a statement, he says: "I'm so excited to be going back and forth to Australia over the coming five months filming The Voice and touring.
"I'm really sorry we've had to move the dates, but hopefully it hasn't put anyone out, and we'll just make sure the shows are even better to make up for it!"
The concerts, in cities including Sydney, Perth and Canberra, will now take place in April.
