Katherine Jackson lost sole guardianship of her grandchildren Paris, Prince Michael and Blanket last month after she was reported missing by a family member.
The King of Pop's mother, who now legally cares for the kids with their cousin TJ, insisted she was holidaying in Arizona but the Jackson clan was dogged by rumours of infighting as they publicly called for calm between one another.
Ross, a close friend of late singer Michael, has since met with his mother Katherine and has vowed to step and care for the youngsters, Prince, Paris and Blanket, if tensions within the family become fraught, according to the Daily Mirror.
Friend Stacy Brown says, "Diana felt it was time to meet Katherine and the children face to face. When she left, she let it be known that if this thing blows up publicly again, she'll be back. Diana gave Paris her phone number and said: 'Use it, no matter what. Use it.'"
