The mother-of two was found dead at her home near Kent on Monday.

A post-mortem into the 25-year-old's death proved inconclusive pending the results of a toxicology report, which could take up to several weeks.

Any inquest is not expected to be opened and adjourned by the coroner until after the results of the toxicology tests are known.

Police have said her death is being treated as "non-suspicious, unexplained and sudden".

A spokesman for North West Kent coroner Roger Hatch said: "We can confirm that the body has been released to the family for funeral arrangements to be made."

Meanwhile Bob Geldof has reportedly reunited with his family, visiting daughter Peaches' two young sons Astala, 23 months, and Phaedra, who is almost one, following the sudden death of their mother.

The Daily Mirror reported the Irish singer flew into Heathrow Airport from the US before meeting his daughter Pixie at his home in south-west London.

He later met Peaches' husband Tom Cohen and their children.

Peaches' sister Pixie has cancelled a DJ set at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in California.

An event spokesperson said: "We can confirm that Pixie Geldof was scheduled to DJ at The Old Navy Oasis event, but is no longer participating."
