One Direction's plans to have a wild time in Las Vegas were dealt a blow after they were reportedly banned from casinos because they are too young.

One Direction in Vegas casinos 'ban'

The pop stars played a show at the Planet Hollywood Theater for the Performing Arts earlier this month, but their attempts to live it up in the famed party city were foiled after gambling bosses barred them from casinos for being underage.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "The boys were hoping to go wild in Vegas by boozing and gambling into the early hours.

"But security at every casino in town knew who the lads were and threw them out because the legal drinking and gambling age in the US is 21."

Following their dashed gambling dreams, the What Makes You Beautiful hitmakers headed back to their $25,000 (£16,000)-a-night two-floor Palms hotel suite, which has its own hot tub and basketball half court.
