The pop singer turns 19 on 13 September, and he is heading to his home town of Mullingar to take charge of an event to raise funds for the Irish Autism Action charity and a homeless organisation called Temporary Emergency Accommodation Mullingar (T.E.A.M.).
The fundraiser will be co-hosted by Boyzone star Keith Duffy, whose daughter Mia is autistic, and he is urging fans to buy tickets for the bash.
In a post on his Twitter page, Duffy writes: "Pls (please) join Niall Horan on his b'day (sic) 13th Sept in Mullingar to raise funds for Irish Autism & TEAM!"
Horan says: "I am delighted and honoured to be in the fortunate position of being able to give back to my community. The plan for my birthday, which is on the 13th of September, is to raise as much money as possible for IAA and T.E.A.M. and at the same time ensuring that both events are successful and fun for everyone involved."
