'Nervous' BGT stars prepare for final

The finalists of Britain's Got Talent joined This Morning's Phillip and Holly at London's South Bank on Thursday to chat about their preparations for the upcoming final.

Eleven acts will perform on Saturday with the hopes of being crowned the BGT winner of 2014, and the decision is no longer in the hands of Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams, as it's now up to the voting public."There's a lot of nerves and a lot of excitement," said illusionist Darcy Oake."It's been absolutely amazing, so overwhelming, so exciting - I think we are all in the same boat, we are just waiting for Saturday to come."Holly asked Darcy if he could confirm whether or not he will be performing without his shirt on during the final, as he had previously promised, but the shy Canadian simply told her: "You'll have to tune in and see..."The favourites for this year's BGT title are young duo Bar & Melody, who not only wowed the judges, with Simon pressing the golden buzzer for them, but also US comedienne Ellen DeGeneres who invited the pair to perform on her show in L.A."It's been such a good experience," said Charlie. "The stuff we have done in the past month is so incredible and for people to have given us these opportunities, it's such an amazing experience."There are also high hopes for classical singer Lucy Kay, whose semi-final performance earned her a standing ovation from all four judges. She admitted she has found it difficult to decide on a song to perform on Saturday."It is quite tough because being a classical singer, not everyone is in to that, and so I have to pick kind of iconic songs that people have heard on adverts or associate with opera."I've had to change my song to adapt to the public, it's no good singing an aria that no one knows. But I've picked a song that is big.Joining the group on Thursday was the recently announced wild card finalist, comedian Jon Clegg.Responding to cheers from his fellow finalists, he said: "I feel like I've gate-crashed the party. I'm the bloke who's just happy to be here."I only found out two days ago (I was in the final), but I was kind of having something in the background just in case and keeping everything crossed."The Britain's Got Talent stars will perform during Saturday's final on UTV from 7pm.
