Sai and Ally's surprise wedding music video (aka Marryoke) of "I Gotta Feeling" by the Black Eyed Peas was shot during the wedding and reception last year by photographer friends Billy and Katie, without the knowledge of the couple.
"We'd never heard of the term "Marryoke" until after uploading it to YouTube and realised it was a "thing", Sai told UTV.
"Everyone seems to know someone in it and even complete strangers get a good laugh out of it".
Marryokes are becoming more and more popular as the answer to often dull and formulaic wedding videos.
Sai and Ally say they wanted something different for their wedding video but they had no idea it would be so unique and prove an online hit.
"The whole operation was apparently quite stealthy", Sai explained.
"We simply had no idea it was happening until the "fake birthday party/screening" with all our friends after the honeymoon!"
"When we thought about it afterwards, there were a few clues that we just didn't piece together; like seeing Ruth dancing like an eejit upstairs at the reception, the bridesmaids looking like they were up to something during the photography and then right at the end of the night, somebody actually came up to us and almost spilt the beans by accident! We did wonder why that song kept being played near us!"
