The station's 192,000 listeners now tune in for a combined total of more than two million hours each week.

The average hours per listener now sit at 10.5 - up from 9.7 last time, giving the station the highest average hours of any local commercial station in the U105 area.

U105 Station Manager Peter McVerry said: "These are another fantastic set of figures and it's great for the team here at U105 to know that our listeners enjoy spending so much of their day and their week with us on the station.

"And it's great for us as a team to know that we perform so well in such an intensely competitive market."
