Her topless time among the corn rows made worldwide headlines almost one year ago when the farmer who loaned the land to Ri-Ri halted the filming to tell her to put her clothes back on.
The global star was shooting 'We Found Love' bra-less for the cameras when DUP Alderman Alan Graham, 61, interrupted the filming schedule, telling her it was "inappropriate."
The farmer told UTV at the time: "I had a conversation with Rihanna regarding the issue and hopefully she knows where I'm coming from. We shook hands and parted in good enough terms.
"I've no ill against the people, but I feel there are boundaries as to what is acceptable to take place on my farm.
During the video shoot, the superstar was also filmed in a Belfast chippy, and cruising round in an American muscle car on the streets of the New Lodge.
There she grabbed a megaphone and thanked everyone for coming to see her, before declaring: "I love you Belfast. Thank you."
Rihanna celebrated picking up the 'Video of the Year' award on Thursday with a hug from her ex Chris Brown after opening the show at the Staples Center in LA with a performance of the award winning song and also a rendition of 'Cockiness.'
"MTV thank you so much, but most importantly, my fans thank you so much for voting," she said.
"My Navy. Rihanna Navy... it's Navy or die. I love you guys, thank you, this is awesome," she told the audience.
But it was X Factor boyband One Direction that dominated the ceremony, picking up gongs for Best new artist, Most share-worthy video, and Best pop video - for their debut hit What Makes You Beautiful.
