British actress Joanna Lumley is auctioning off the tracksuit she wore to carry the Olympic Torch to raise funds for a military charity.

Lumley channelled her Absolutely Fabulous character Patsy as she ran with the famed flame alongside her co-star Jennifer Saunders in London last month.

The actress has decided to autograph the clothes she was wearing for the event and donate them to the Tickets For Troops charity, which treats soldiers to free entry to events.

She tells the Daily Telegraph: "I felt a sense of pride and privilege to be carrying the Olympic Torch, and I think if my tracksuit raises some money for a wonderful charity like Tickets For Troops, then it is fitting that I can recognise their dedication and work in such a simple way."

Lumley's tracksuit is listed on eBay.co.uk, and the auction will end on 25 August.
