Lostprophets singer remanded in custody

The Welsh rocker has been charged with two counts of conspiracy to engage in sexual activity with a female under 13 and three counts of possessing, making and distributing indecent images of children.

He is also accused of possessing "extreme" animal pornography.

Earlier this month he was ordered to spend Christmas behind bars, and appeared via video link at a hearing at Cardiff Crown Court from Parc Prison in Wales on Monday, where he was remanded until 11 March.

Two women, aged 20 and 24, who are facing similar charges, were also refused bail at the hearing. They cannot be named for legal reasons.
