The stars of the musical series, including Cory Monteith and Lea Michele, paid homage to the Thriller hitmaker onscreen after creator Ryan Murphy secured the Jackson family's support to go ahead with the special show.
La Toya Jackson has now thanked the cast and crew for the episode, which featured around 10 of Jackson's hit tracks when it aired in America on Tuesday night.
In a series of posts on Twitter, she writes: "This show Glee of MJ Glee makes me cry I realise how much I miss my brother and how extremely talented he was!!!
"I wish to thank the cast of Glee on Fox... for performing an incredible job on your tribute to Michael on MJ Glee. It was much appreciate(d)."
