Boyzone star Ronan Keating has landed his own radio show
Boyzone star Ronan Keating has landed his own radio show.

Keating - who has also had a successful solo career - will front a Sunday show for London station Magic 105.4.

Keating, 32, will broadcast his first two-hour show from 2pm this Sunday, based on his own and listener's choices.

The singer, who was mourning the loss of friend and Boyzone bandmate Stephen Gateley last year, has been a guest presenter for the station but this is the first time he has had a regular show.

Keating, currently preparing for his tour this spring, has sold more than 22m albums around the world and has scored hits such as When You Say Nothing At All and Life Is A Rollercoaster.

He said: "I'm really excited about getting behind the mic and choosing my favourite tunes to play to the listeners. It's an opportunity to share my love of music with the fans, and show everyone I am not only a singer, but a broadcaster as well."

Pete Simmons, the station's programming director, said: "Ronan is incredibly popular with our listeners as a personality and as a performer and songwriter. London will be treated to Ronan's Irish charm as they prepare for the week ahead."
