Before she arrived on stage, excited fans were first treated to a set from support act Icona Pop.

The Swedish dance duo performed a number of tracks to get the crowd warmed up for the main show, including their number one hit single I Love It.

Perry then appeared to perform hits from her latest album Prism, including singles Roar, Part Of Me and Dark Horse.

Fans also enjoyed live performances of her biggest songs to date, including Kissed a Girl and Teenage Dream, before ending the night with her huge hit Firework.

During the show, Perry told her fans how excited she was to be back in Belfast, adding: "I can't think about yesterday. I can't think about tomorrow. I can only think about this moment...So will you be here with me?"

The singer made a number of costume changes throughout the evening with big bold colours and an Egyptian theme running throughout the concert.

At one point she arrived on stage sitting on top of a large golden horse and later performed in a bright pink catsuit, complete with feline ears.

Following the concert, Perry told her fans on Twitter: "It feels like we never left! Tonight was INSANE in all the best ways. I have a feeling the light hit everyone!"

The 107 date Prismatic World Tour includes 17 gigs across the UK, with four headline concerts at London's O2 Arena.
