Katie Holmes flees to hotel after Sandy

Katie Holmes and her daughter Suri are living in a hotel in New York City after their luxury apartment was left without power following superstorm Sandy.
Tom Cruise's ex-wife and their six-year-old daughter have been based in Manhattan's Chelsea district since the couple split earlier this year but their home was plunged into darkness on Monday as severe winds ripped through Manhattan.
The apartment block was also left without running water, so former Dawson's Creek star Holmes and Suri packed their bags and moved into a hotel further uptown until the problems are resolved, according to New York Post gossip column Page Six.
