The pop superstar was arraigned in court on Wednesday on a charge of misdemeanour vandalism following the incident in January, when he reportedly hurled eggs at the property, which was located near his own pad in a gated neighbourhood in Calabasas.
The singer was not present for the hearing, but his lawyer entered the plea on his client's behalf.
As part of a deal with prosecutors, Bieber was placed on two years' probation and given community service, while he was also sentenced to complete 12 weeks of anger counselling, with at least one class a week.
In addition, Bieber must pay his neighbour $80,900 (£47,588) in damags and stay at least 100 yards away from the victim and his family.
Police had initially estimated the damage to be worth $20,000 (£11,765), but the judge revealed the repairs to the "dream house" had cost more than four times as much.
Bieber moved out of the Calabasas mansion shortly after the egging incident and sold the property to reality TV star Khloe Kardashian in March.
