The UTV presenter organised a fashion show in the Belfast hotel to raise money after he had life-saving heart surgery in the summer.
Julian was missing from TV screens for four months after he underwent a quadruple heart bypass at the Ulster Hospital, and the fashion flaunt was his opportunity to give back.
Some of the nurses who treated Julian donned some of the hottest Spring Summer 2012 trends and took to the catwalk.
The money raised from the event will go to Ward 16 at the Ulster Hospital and Northern Ireland Chest Heart and Stroke Association.
"When I first thought of this it was just after I'd had the surgery and I was thinking about doing it and then somebody said to me, are you slightly delirious thinking about this?," he explained, "I said no, I want to do it for Ward 16 and the nurses.
"I'm standing here and I can honestly say it's as if nothing ever happened now. I'm an all-new boy, and that's good."
Ulster Hospital staff nurse Nicola Kennedy was one of those who swapped scrubs for trendy outfits.
She said Julian was "great fun" to have on the ward, and the fashion flaunt was a great way to help the ward progress.
"I would never have dreamt of doing this before I was asked," she told UTV.
"It's great to be able to do this alongside him and come into his world for a change!"
