Josie poses after she wins the 11th and final Big Brother 2010
Big Brother 11 winner Josie has quit the show after moaning that she has had enough.

The housemate, who began life in the latest series Ultimate Big Brother just hours after winning the £100,000 prize on Tuesday, walked out of a fire exit.

She had repeatedly talked about leaving the show and was drinking lager on Thursday morning to steady her nerves.

Josie quit the house through the same fire exit through which her love interest John James had temporarily departed.

By coincidence, one of the first people she met after walking through the corridors used by cameramen was John James. He had returned to the compound used by BB production staff to record a message for her.

Still wearing her microphone, she told him: "Thank God you were here when I came out." He told her: "You're so stupid - I love you so much."

Josie went on: "I can't handle it no more, honestly."

The couple kissed as Josie apologised to show producers, saying she struggled to cope with being with her new housemates.

She told producers: "I'm so sorry, guys. They're all really nice people, don't get me wrong. I'm normal, I'm not a celebrity, I'm not like that. I couldn't handle it no more."

On Tuesday she was joined by a group of figures who have appeared on previous runs of Big Brother, including John McCririck, Coolio and Ulrika Jonsson.

Brian Dowling alerted the others when he realised she was missing and the rest of the housemates tried to summon her back but she had already gone.
