Jessie J is writing her own musical in the hope of becoming a West End hit.

Jessie J writing stage musical

The British singer is desperate to launch her own stage spectacular, but has put her theatre dreams on hold temporarily following her chart success and role as a judge on the U.K. version of The Voice.

She tells Britain's The Sun, "I would love to do musicals. That is what I trained in. I've started writing one but it's kind of been put to the side. It's about life and feeling good.

It's about time there's something on stage that kids can go to and come out thinking they can take on the world and do something with their life if they're in a bad place."
