Janet to sing at All-Ireland final

X Factor star Janet Devlin will be singing during the half-time show at Sunday's All-Ireland football final between Donegal and Mayo.

The Gortin teenager is set to perform an original song as she takes to the stage at Croke Park in front of an 83,000-strong crowd this weekend.

Feisty Janet was a sensation on the X Factor in 2011, making her way to the final five under mentor Kelly Rowland and with help from her fans in Northern Ireland.

Since bowing out of the talent show she has been in the studio with stars including singer songwriter Newton Faulkner.

Janet, who flew home this week, told her Twitter followers she is "totally not scared" by the scale of the venue as she gears up to sing one of her own tracks at Sunday's GAA showpiece.
