They may be out of the X Factor competition, but Rough Copy are still being tipped for success by predecessors JLS.

Aston Merrygold, JB Gill, Marvin Humes and Oritsé Williams know what it's like to miss out on X Factor glory, but it certainly hasn't held them back from becoming one of the show's biggest acts.

And they're now predicting good things for Rough Copy, who missed out on a place in the final.

Hailing Joey, Kaz and Sterling as "the next big thing", Marvin added: "I genuinely think they could go into the studio next month and put together an album. I'd buy it.

"They are exciting and they will continue growing massively."

We owe a lot to The X Factor ...

But who do the JLS boys think could actually win this year's X Factor title?

"They are all very different artists," Aston said.

"But for me, Sam Bailey has been flawless in this competition. Everyone always thinks being in the Over 25 category means you won't do well, but look at Olly Murs.

"He was in the Over 25s and is probably one of the most successful male artists in the country - I think Sam could do really well!"

Oritsé, on the other hand, thinks Luke Friend's individual style could give him the edge.

"I find Luke brings something unique to the table - with his style and fashion, I feel like he looks like a rock star. He's a musician and he has a great voice. I think he could be global," he said.

But no one's underestimating Scotland's Nicholas McDonald.

"It's interesting because Nicholas' voice is also great," Aston said.

"He is a very different artist to Luke."

JLS are set to go their separate ways after a farewell tour across the UK, but JLS Goodbye - The Greatest Hits Tour DVD is out now.

Catch the X Factor Final Weekend on UTV on Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 7.30pm.
