Last year's X Factor finalists JLS have dealt a second blow to judge Cheryl Cole as they toppled her from the album chart the week after they stole the top singles spot.
The boy band's debut album JLS went straight in at number one, brushing off tough competition from Robbie Williams and Snow Patrol.
It was a good week for former X Factor contestants all round, with 2006 winner Leona Lewis going in at number two in the singles chart with Happy.
Williams's Reality Killed The Video Star made its album chart debut at number two, and Up To Now, the best-of album from alternative rockers Snow Patrol, went in at three.
Cole fell from the top spot to rest at seven with her first solo outing, Three Words.
The Black Eyed Peas were kings of the singles chart this week with Meet Me Halfway, up two this week from number three.
JLS dropped two to number three in the singles top 10 and Cole dropped to four with her single.
N-Dubz saw a new entry at number five with I Need You, and Britney Spears made a reappearance in the top 10 with her single '3' which debuted at seven.
The new Sugababes line-up saw About A Girl go straight in at number eight.
On Sunday, JLS said they were "devastated" about a crowd surge at a Christmas lights switch-on event that left dozens injured.
In a statement on the group's website, band member Marvin Humes said: "We are devastated to see what happened at the BRMB event in Birmingham yesterday.
"We are so, so sad to see that people got injured at the gig.
"We just hope that everyone who was injured has a speedy recovery."
