Irish promoter upset with Iglesias gig

An Irish promoter has blasted Julio Iglesias for what he believes was one of the crooner's worst performances.
Fans were expecting a dazzling show of hits at The O2 in Dublin on Thursday, but instead the Spanish star sang mostly in his native tongue on a darkened stage.
Many gig-goers left long before the end of the concert and now the man behind the show, Pat Egan, has revealed he has complained about Iglesias' performance.
He tells the Irish Independent newspaper: "It was not the performance I would have expected from an artist of that calibre. I think Julio might have thought he was in Mexico."
