The ten stars from across the worlds of television, music, sport and even politics while have to shun their home comforts for up to three weeks - in favour of rationed food and Bushtucker trials.

Rumours have been rife about the names set to take part, with confirmation coming on Wednesday.

The line-up includes former world heavy-weight boxing champ David Haye, Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts, Doctor Who actor Colin Baker, entertainer Brian Conley and darts champion Eric Bristow.

The soaps are also well represented with EastEnders star Charlie Brooks (Janine) and former Coronation Street resident Helen Flanagan (Rosie) taking part.

Made in Chelsea's Hugo Taylor will be swapping his sharp suits for jungle gear, while Tory MP Nadine Dorries caused a stir among her party colleagues and political opponents through her involvement.

Using to fighting for a living and describing losing as his biggest phobia, boxer David Haye isn't sure what he'll be like as a camp mate.

"It's going to be interesting to see what it is like being part of a team. I've never been a team player. I've chosen a sport that has always been about me," he said.

"But I don't think I'm the argumentative type and I certainly don't see myself as the cook in the camp - I'm poor at that!"

While many of the celebs struggle with the food rations, one person who won't mind too much is the man famous for his role as Doctor Who, Colin Baker.

While he loves his food, he's heading to the jungle on a mission to lose weight.

"There's not even a fridge I can raid in the middle of the night ..." he said.

"I'm aiming for at least a stone and a half and it would be fabulous if I can. I just then hope I can keep it off once I am out!"

Meanwhile former Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts has admitted she'd be over the moon if she found love under the Australian stars and says British men are "very charming".

She added: "If the man of my dreams is in the jungle, then let it be! I'm 100% single."

For Nadine Dorries, who has since been suspended by the Conservatives, being in the jungle will be just like being at work.

"Westminster is a jungle," she said.

"Game playing, tactics, strategies. In Westminster, you achieve everything by vote. This is the same. The parallels are huge."

The MP also defended her decision to take part, adding that Prime Minister David Cameron would probably be "relieved" she was away - as she's "a thorn in his side".

"I know there will be a backlash that I am going on this show, but I would like to point out that I have never before taken a week away in Parliamentary time whereas a lot of other MPs have," she added.

Hosts Ant and Dec are back for the new series, bringing all the latest developments from the jungle until the eventual King or Queen of the Jungle is crowned.

This year, the show is supporting Malaria No More UK as its chosen charity, with 15p from every phone vote being donated to help save lives in Africa.

I'm A Celeb kicks off on UTV on Sunday 11 November at 9pm.

Wasnt it last year or the year before that Ian Paisley Jnr was asked to take part in Im a Celebrity but he turned it down? lol that wouldve been good to watch, seeing Ian living on rice and beans. Im sure when the bug eating challenge came up and the public had to vote, the WHOLE of NI would be voting for Ian to be choking on a cockroach or chewing on rat tail lol Would love to see someone from the DUP and Sinn Fein being in the jungle lol
