Michael Flatley: A Night To Remember will celebrate Flatley's rise to fame and look back over his career spanning 20 years as a world-renowned dancer.
The programme will chart the dancer's ground-breaking choreography for Riverdance and his Eurovision performance exactly 20 years ago on 30 April 1994, as well as highlight the massive global success of his hit shows Lord Of The Dance, Feet of Flames and Celtic Tiger.
During the show, Flatley will perform some of his famed moves, accompanied by a troupe of 30 dancers and musicians.
Flatley said: "The last 20 years have been an extraordinary journey for me and I am honoured that ITV are celebrating my story.
"I'm very much looking to performing with my dancers - a hugely talented group of young people and the stars of the future - for what promises to be a very special night."
The evening will also feature exclusive material and a sneak peak of Flatley's new show, Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games, with former Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle, who will star as The Goddess Erin in the production, performing the title song live in the studio.
Friends and fans, including Sir Bruce Forsyth, will also be paying tribute.
Nadine Coyle said it was "a real honour" to be working alongside Flatley, adding: "To be singing the title track is an absolute dream, it's such a fantastic song which perfectly captures the energy and drama of the show.
"I am really excited to be performing it on a night which celebrates Michael's incredible achievements over the past 20 years."
The TV special Michael Flatley: A Night To Remember will be airing soon on UTV.
