The High School Musical actress, who is currently dating actor Austin Butler, enjoyed spending time with the veteran British icon as they filmed the new action-adventure film together.
She also met Caine's wife Shakira - and she's in awe of their solid partnership after 39 years of marriage.
Hudgens tells Metro newspaper: "I adore Michael and Shakira. Meeting them made me look forward to getting older because they are so secure about who they are and they speak their mind. There's no fakeness (sic).
"Michael's a legend and he's so inspiring and so hip. He was singing Beyonce and Katy Perry songs. I was sitting next to him in between set-ups and he was singing: 'Baby, you're a firework... ' I adore him."
