Pop star George Michael has been left with a large scar on the back of his skull after a near-fatal car crash in May.

George Michael left scarred by accident

The Careless Whisper hitmaker spent almost two weeks in hospital after tumbling out of a moving Range Rover on the busy M1 motorway near London, which left him nursing bloody cuts and bruises on his face and arm.

He has been recuperating at home since the drama on 16 May, but he has now been photographed out and about, sporting a five-inch scar on his head as a result of the accident.

The singer was also snapped with another scar on his left elbow.

Michael, 50, has been using his down time to start work on new songs for his next album.

Glad to see him out and looking just fine. After that last incident I as a longtime fan was getting a bit worried that he really was out of circulation. Only thing missing in the pictures is his heart melting grin. Stay well GM. We love yah.
